The picture shows both Merkt Creek and San Luis Creek. San Luis Creek goes from left to right in the photo, where the green foliage is. Merkt Creek is a tributary of San Luis Creek, and it's dry in this photo. Looking above the right pole (the right one of the two poles on the left) you see a small arroyo on the slope. This is where Merkt Creek flows into San Luis Creek. This map confirms this. Jeffrey Beall (talk) 10:02, 2 June 2024 (UTC).
