Category:Gül u bülbül or Gol o morg ?

Hi @Footpathandstile, I think the category you created (Category:Gol o morg) is the same as Category:Gül u bülbül which has been transfered to Category:Rose and nightingale (motif). What do you think ? Faithfully yours Ted1968 (talk) 11:56, 3 March 2024 (UTC)

They're related, but gul u bulbul is a sub-theme of gol o morg (any bird, not just nightingale).

I can't confirm for sure but it seems that "rose & nightingale" has a specific literary symbolism/connotation that doesn't apply to all gol o morg paintings (hence the need for a separate, more general category)

So are you ok to say that "rose and nightingale" is a subcategory of gol o morg ( as it is stated on iranicaonline : "The theme of rose and nightingale, gol o bolbol—a sub-theme of flower and bird painting, gol o botta or gol o morḡ" ?~~ Ted1968 (talk) 14:15, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
