Why this orientation?

If the diagram were drawn such that the light rays enter from below and exit from the side it would be more easily recognisable as the type of prism used in an SLR camera viewfinder. As it stands, it's rather confusing because it isn't immediately obvious where the eyepiece goes. 87.75.117.183 01:29, 11 January 2021 (UTC)
