The current description seems inaccurate. I happen to be familiar with the place, and as the image title says, it is a checkpoint between Jerusalem and Bethlehem and the West Bank. I've also never seen a PRCS ambulance searched while exiting Israeli controlled Jerusalem, only perhaps while entering (uncommon in recent years) or at a checkpoint within the West Bank. It seems more likely, based on my experience at least, that this is a transfer of a Palestinian patient to an Israeli ambulance (yet to arrive, or off-frame), probably for care in an Israeli hospital. If the pictured soldiers are actually approaching the ambulance, then it would be to search before entrance. Tewfik 16:34, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
