Raëlians category

[edit]

A user has added Category:Raëlians to this image, and to the similar image File:Topless protest.JPG. Both images were uploaded more than five years ago. The cat has also been added to the recently derived image File:Right to go topless cropped.jpg}. The claim is that the protest event was organized by Raelians. No source had been provided to justify this claim. The editor claims that the subjects of the images are Reelians based on the jewellery they are wearing. In File:Topless protest.JPG the protester is holding a placard for www.gotopless.org which is a website with connections to the founder of the Raelians. In File:Right to go topless.JPG that placard is in the image but is not being held by the protester. In the derived image File:Right to go topless cropped.jpg the original image had been cropped to remove the placard with the url (see discussion at en:Talk:Topfreedom#Promotion of Raelianism in images.

Should the cat Category:Raëlians be used with these images? Meters (talk) 00:14, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The images depict women at a Raelian-organized event, holding signs with the URL of a Raelian website, and wearing jewellery with Raelian symbols. You know all of this already from our discussions on Wikipedia. Please stop being obstinate. World's Lamest Critic (talk) 13:19, 9 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
