This image has been remade several times so it really surprises me that no one has spotted the error yet. The transcription says "lassi" but the tengwar actually read "lassë". The vowel tehta above the essë should be changed from an "accent" to a "dot". I also believe the essë should be replaced with an essë nuquerna though in truth it doesn't really matter that much. You are right about "lasse", but the reaspm fpr this misspelling is that this example is a verbatim transcription of Tolkien's own tengwar from the cover of The Road Goes Ever On (classified in The Mellonath Daeron Index of Tengwa Specimina as DTS 19/20.) Alatius (talk) 07:49, 1 September 2013 (UTC)
