Helen Morrison

The photographer information is puzzling. A photographer Helen Morrison existed but she was American and I see no evidence that she travelled to China. There is no biography on Wikipedia but she can be tracked down on the Web here or here. She wasn't German and her name is not German but Scottish or English. So is it the same person?
