Are we sure of the location?

I'm wondering about the UW Library notes on this one. If accurate, this would have to be the facility shown at number 27 on File:Port of Seattle map, 1918.jpg, just west of (below) the Great Northern docks at number 28. That would seem to put this way out on the end of a pier (that's the only large structure shown there), but there's grass and scrub growing here, and it doesn't look like it was in a place where space was particularly at a premium. Plus I've never seen another picture of the piers at Smith Cove with anything that looks like this.

I'm not saying it's wrong; I just have my doubts and wonder whether there is another picture that puts this building in broader context. - Jmabel ! talk 04:33, 1 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
