This is not Lewis Wharf, owned by Mary Heaton Vorse in 1915, where the Provincetown Players performed their first two summer seasons before moving to New York City. Unfortunately this photo continues to be labeled as such and has mistakenly found its way onto many web site and marked as such. I believe that this may be a wharf in Provincetown around that time, but it is not the place where the Players performed.
