This portrait is not Robespierre, nor is it by Boze, although that is how it was sold to Versailles in 1950s. The engraved versions by Gilles-Louis Chrétien (Getty Library, available via archive.org) indicate that it is by Jean-Baptiste Fouquet. One version shows the same sitter in uniform as an officer of the Garde Nationale, a rank Robespierre never held.
