CW tilt

[edit]

This is a wonderful image with excellent composition, but it has a clockwise tilt and is of low resolution. If you have a higher-resolution original, could you please correct the tilt and then upload the larger version? Thanks.

With the issues listed above in mind, I'll try to make a trip up to Mount Washington before the end of the summer to take a similar but higher-quality photo. —Notyourbroom (talk) 16:49, 12 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No need to take a new photo. I have a higher quality version that I can update. I can examine the tilt as well, but it may be due to the mountains instead. I'll take a look further. Derek.cashman (talk) 18:26, 6 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I've uploaded a new image at much higher resolution (2951x1935 pixels). I also rotated the image and tweaked the color balance a bit to reduce the reddening (though the reddening is somewhat natural, since the image was taken in the evening, under red sun). For some reason, the image hasn't updated in the main view, but when I click the 'current' one from the history, I get the one I just uploaded. Maybe it takes a little while to appear?
