This map has lost much of the detail present in Image:Pennsylvania Locator Map.PNG to the point of inaccuracy. For example, the Presque Isle peninsula in Lake Erie is gone, and the famed arc border with Delaware is now shown as an angle. The counties are shown as simple polygons and the borders which represent the meandering courses of rivers or winding mountain ridges are almost all smoothed out and lost. I fail to see how this is in any way an improvement, except for those who think all images should end in "svg". It was taken from Image:USA Counties.svg. I've just redone the important area (the state itself) from Image:Map of Pennsylvania highlighting Philadelphia County.svg, which I hope you'll agree is a lot better. Stannered 21:31, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
