Thanks for adding the photo, but that .jpg appears to be mislabeled. I looked at the original on Flickr and it doesn't say anything about pork or bacon. I think it's just a pankakka (swedish pancake). ChildofMidnight (talk) 22:53, 4 June 2009 (UTC)

• Bollocks! Do you suppose it was too good to be true? I just went by the name, taking it at face value without investigating, as I haven't seen (nor tasted) the bacon-containing version. I posted a note on the uploader's Talk page asking if s/he could recall (3 years later) why s/he changed the name from "Swedish pancakes" on Flickr to "Fläskpannkaka" when moving to Commons. Further confusing the issue is the Swedish/English recipe linked to the article which refers to making the pancakes with or without bacon. Should we take down the photo pending clarification? Are you up to baking up a batch of "true" Fläskpannkaka, bacon and all, and posting a photo? When all else fails... (I did that for Lyonnaise_potatoes when I couldn't find a Flickr or Commons photo.) Or perhaps the uploading editor has a really good explanation after all these years. What do you think? Geoff ^{T C} 00:31, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

I'm no expert. But the photos on Flickr (none of which have suitable licensing for use on Wiki) suggest the photo of the thin crepes with lingonberry jam depict pannkaka without the fläsk. I'll leave the cooking of a photogenic batch of the real deal to you, as you're closer to the source and did such an exceptional job with the taters. You're too kind! So, I've removed the link to the photo in the article and restored the reqphoto tag on its talk page pending responses from the uploader of the Commons photo and from the Flickr uploader who posted the (clearly different) photos to Flickr "all rights reserved." If she will grant permission, perhaps her bacon-infused photo can be used for the article, as it certainly does look like the description. Cheers also! A pleasure working with you! With regards to File:Fläskpannkaka.jpg, I was at the time working from tags attached to the photograph on Flickr. Since Stu Spivack had added the tag Fläskpannkaka, I uploaded it as an example without really checking in depth the difference between the two. It looks like he realised his mistake later and removed the tag, but the file remained as was on Commons until now. I've stopped working on the Commons project fairly recently, but if you feel that the filename is misleading, feel free to add a notice to the description page asking for a rename or outright deletion.
