This bronze statuette of Arabian horses is more commonly entitled "L'Accolade". It is one of Mêne's most celebrated works and was cast in three sizes at heights of 41.1cm, 33.5 cm and smaller. The signature reads 'P. J. MÊNE'. The signature followed by date 1851 is not original and probably signifies a fake recasting. The present picture also shows signs of either faulty casting or serious damage, e.g., to the ears, tail and a leg. I intend to replace it in the near future (in English Wikipedia) with an image of undamaged work with better provenance which will first be uploaded to Commons.
