This picture of Julius Saaristo (born in 1891) and the whole journal are never ever from 1885. There's another picture of the same throw in wikimedia commons, file:Julius Saaristo 1912.jpg, which informs that that moment was at the 1912 Summer Olympics in Stockholm - in fact, it was exactly July 6, 1912.
