The picture cannot be taken in 1972, since the Oulu City Library (completed in 1982) building is visible. ––Apalsola t • c 12:11, 22 May 2017 (UTC)
- You are correct. In the File:Oulu Market Square 1972.jpg one can also see the Bergbom warehouse so I guess this other picture could have been taken in 1972. In the "Oulun kaupungin historia VI" on page 351, it says that the library was topped out on February 1981 and completed in November 1981 (the year 1982 must have been the opening year of the building). I will change the date of this photograph to 1981, since besides that construction matches the year, there are also other pictures taken by the author Teuvo Kanerva in Oulu in 1981.
