The funnel is that of Capital Ship Management (www.capitalship.gr). They had seven ships of this class. Of those, IMO 9327463, IMO 9327451, and IMO 9328297 were all still under construction on the date of this photo. IMO 9328285 had just been delivered, but it had "CAPITAL" painted on the side of the ship. The Axios (IMO 9315941) seems to have been operating in the Oceania/Asia region in this period (photographed in Brisbane en route to Singapore on July 17, 2007, less than a month after this photo, and photos from November in Wellington). The Avax (IMO 9315939) was operating in Europe, but when photographed in March that year had a white horizontal scuff on the side of the ship, which is not present in this photo. Furthermore, the ship name width on back seems similar to the port city width, and the Avax name was shorter. The last one is the Assos, IMO 9327449), which seems to fit all criteria -- was operating in Europe, name length seems about right, and one photo from July 20 shows a couple of vertical marks on the red portion hull which seem to match this photo -- one is painted, but the other seems like an arbitrary scuff mark. So, strongly think this is the Assos. Carl Lindberg (talk) 17:17, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
