Changes made to address misleading description contained in original upload

[edit]

I have changed the misleading description that originally identified the motorcycle as a "Domiracer":

English: 1961 Norton Domiracer, built by Doug Hele bases on the Norton Dominator. Tom Phillis rode a similar machine to 3rd place in the 1961 Isle of Man Senior TT
Nederlands: Norton Domiracer uit 1961, gebouwd door Doug Hele. Tom Phillis werd met een dergelijke machine 3e in de Isle of Man Senior TT van 1961

It is not a "...Domiracer built by Doug Hele..." which was a low, lightweight racer-only using a special frame together with all other components race-sourced, except the engine. I only found the errors after seeing in the Tom Phillis article a link to Norton Dominator#Racing section.

This image shows a modern replica with early-period race-styling to a Norton Dominator roadster with a post-1961 slimline Featherbed frame, roadster Roadholder forks and road brakes, using a road gearbox with kick-start provision, the footrests mounted on the road-pillion footrest frame brackets and later-type Amal Concentric carburettors.

It was being sold by a business in The Netherlands, described at their website as: We are a straightforward organisation which aims at acquiring old motorcycles – in the broadest sense of the word – and making them available to enthusiasts of all kinds by means of sale.

As the image now deadlinked (not at Wayback machine), I cannot comment on whom the uploader is (associated with the business?), or from where the description was obtained, but as Wikipemedia needs to be correct, I have amended it.

I don't have file-mover rights, but it needs renaming to File:Norton Dominator based race-replica, post 1961.jpg. In the subcat, two out of three images were wrongly placed, now have been corrected to the parent Category:Norton racing motorcycles.
