How do we know this is the original shape? Isn't it possible that over the 1400 years the original dimensions have been forgotten and people have just sort of reshaped it around the new trees? Reply to self. OK, apparentyly based on a Google Maps saytellite photo that green area that I assumed was carefully cropped grass is actually water. Therefore the only thing theyd have to watch for is whether the shore has eroded or not, which is a lot less likely. Soap (talk) 18:05, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
