Upside down

[edit]

The map is incorrectly displayed. All texts are upside down: North was put on the bottom. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 158.169.40.5 (talk • contribs) 2013-12-18 13:49‎ (UTC)

That's right, it's a retouched picture, turned upside down. If you want to see the original map, it's here : Nicolas_Desliens1.JPG. Sémhur (talk) 14:34, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I find outraging that you present this map upside down pretending the north up is the "right" position, which obviously is not the criteria the author of the map decided to follow. This map is important precisely because it presents the south as the primary focus, which is a rare and different view on things. Altering imposes occidental worldview on a rare historical material.

Also please note that some people challenge the attribution of this map to Nicolas Desliens https://one-kemet.com/blogs/3/12/le-vol-de-la-civilisation-kamite-et-ses-derives and obviously such a work has not been done by one men without support. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Netachepas (talk • contribs) 16:30, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
