File update
[edit]I've updated this file so the boundary between the German and British parts better matches the shape of the territories on the more professionally drawn map at File:Map-Kaiser-Wilhelms-Land-und-Bismarck-Archipel.png (see right). According to http://www.peter-hug.ch/lexikon/kaiserwilhelmsland and http://www.retrobibliothek.de/retrobib/seite.html?id=111838 the border, starting from the east coast, followed the 8th parallel south to the 147th meridian east, from where it continued in a north-westerly direction to the point where the 6th south parallel and the 144th meridian meet; from there it continued in a west-northwesterly direction to point of intersection of the 5th south parallel and the 141st eastern meridian. So the westernmost segment of the southern border should also be a straight line, not wavy as we currently have it. I may fix it when I get a rainy afternoon ... --Jayen466 11:02, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
