St. Bernard?

The link to the original book page claims that this dog called Jack was a "Giant St. Bernard". I kind of doubt that? I see more the old type Newfoundland or even the Labrador's large ancestor (Greater St. John's Dog) than any St. Bernard. Any other ideas for the "correct" breed? If not, then I just won't add the breed in the categories. Canarian (talk) 12:28, 21 July 2019 (UTC)
