Mozilla or Firefox

[edit]

Since the screenshot does not contain visuals and elements beyound the subject item, it's very difficult to tell whether the screenshot was taken of Mozilla (SeaMonkey) or Mozilla Firefox. I've put the image to Category:Mozilla as per file name title, and so far until there is confirmation as to which browser was used, it could stay there, given its generic nature. -Mardus (talk) 04:20, 17 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Revert

[edit]

I've reverted the file to a version from 16.02.2012, 03:09, as per reasons offered in upload/revert description. A new version of the file must match the following requirements:

  • The description must contain which version of SeaMonkey the file was made with (SeaMonkey is assumed, see above. Mozilla Application Suite does not have such an add-ons interface in the first place.);
  • The SeaMonkey window must be small enough for addons category widgets (to the left) not to display text (only icons), as in the original;
  • The small size of the window ensures that the file page does not contain a preview of a much larger image, as it stands with the original version of the file. In case of many plugins in the list, a vertical scrollbar is permissible. If the scrollbar is part of a proprietary operating system, then it can be considered de minimis, because it's unavoidable (a screenshot from a free operating system is preferred);
  • Sub-pixel rendering (font smoothing) must be turned off, because buttons in all versions of the file show that screenshots were made in Windows Vista or newer.
  • Sub-pixel rendering can only be shown if there is proof that the screenshot was made in a free software operating system (Linux, BSD, OpenIndiana, etc.). Consult Commons:Screenshots#Software.
