Confirm Identification of People in the Image?

Would anybody care to help confirm some folks in the image?

• Dorothy Gish on the far left? Confirmed: Nov 2020 - I've had a few friends and correspondents agree that the woman on the far left must be Dorothy Gish, so I'm "calling it."

• D. W. Griffith in the center? It seems a pretty obvious match to me that directory D.W. Griffith is the gentleman at the center of the image. But one correspondent has disagreed. Would anybody join the discussion?

Ideas About Movie Set?

Would anybody speculate or confirm which movie set this is?

• Intolerance? This seems a good guess, given the presence of (I believe) director D.W. Griffith and writers Mary H. O'Connor and Anita Loos. However, after skimming through Intolerance on YouTube, and I don't see this set in the movie. (Could be a never-included scene; or far-background of a scene; I just missed the scene skimming too quickly.)

• One correspondent suggested it might be Orphans of the Storm, for which both D.W. Griffith and Dorothy Gish are credited, but Mary H. O'Connor and Anita Loos are not. Again, skimming through the film online does not show this set.
