Why named Egypt?

[edit]

Perhaps the author of this photo photographed it in Egypt. At Matrouh governerate at the far western Egyptian border, there are many Libyians in Matrouh and many (Several hundred thousands) of Egyptians work in Libyia (some estimate as more than half a million). At a certain point of time Egyptians working in Libyia were not allowed to take their money outside Libyia except in Libians currency (to keep US dollars inside the counbtry). All this might explain why the photographer thought that this is a currency of Egypt as he might have seen it used in buying in several markets in Egypt.--Ashashyou (talk) 13:21, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
