@Rudolphous: Hello. I don't believe that this can be Lactarius quietus, which has a brown stem, has strong concentric zones and does not have such yellow milk. I think the mushroom in the photo may well be Lactarius chrysorrheus (which also grows under oak). Strobilomyces (talk) 17:53, 1 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
