Marienwagen II was a prototype armored truck that followed the Bremer Wagen and the Marinwagen I. All failed to proof all-terrain ability, and the armored body was too heavy for the 4 tn truck chassis. A few of the vehicles ended as platforms for anti aircraft or anti tank guns. The illustration obviously shows one of these.
Development of the Bremer Wagen began in July 1915. The designer was Hugo G. Bremer.--Chief tin cloud (talk) 16:41, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
