Small armies

[edit]

The Vatican has 85 Paple Swiss guards, Panama has a Presidential dignaty battalion and Costa rica has a Presidential guard- so they do have a small army after all! --86.25.49.111 (talk) 14:37, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image properties

[edit]

The trouble I have with this image is that it uses colours to show extensive properties (i.e. those proportional to size). I think colours are better to show intensive properties. "Active troops per thousand citizens" would be a good intensive property. See intensive and extensive properties. —Ashley Y 03:31, 14 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kyrgyzstan miscolored

[edit]

Kyrgyzstan is colored dark red along with China, USA, etc, but it should be colored orange for ~10K troops. dbw (talk) 00:31, 12 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind, Kyrgyzstan is way over to the west... I was looking at part of India.

Choice of Colors

[edit]

I have a real hard time distinguishing between the two reds resembling 200,000 and 500,000, and I'm not colorblind at all. meinsla talk 23:36, 14 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
