Some notes

  • 'Blank' areas on the map, the map number (19 and b in the top righty of the original) and a circle between Estaires and Meteren, 'interpolated' from the surroundings.
  • The river above Caestre was divided in two, as rivers don't flow over hills.
  • I couldn't see if any distinction was made between major and minor roads was made, so there is none.
  • A 40m contour line around Messines was estimated, as it seemed to disappear, and cliffs aren't mentioned anywhere.
  • There are 3 sizes of settlement marker, as there is a range of settlement sizes.
  • The whole frame was 'squared up'.

(edit)

  • my version of inkscape doesn't want to place object in layers. It'll accept a new layer but won't keep an object in it, its unpacked when the file is reopened. Can someone fix this? Its neater.

I did it so you don't have to...Usedtoknowthat (talk) 15:23, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
