This map must have been drawn in late 1940, because it shows the Hungarian-Romanian border in Transylvania that only existed from 1940 to 1944. Also, the Finnish-Soviet border is in its 1940-41 form.

I don't know. That looks awfully like the 1920-40 Finnish border[1] to me. Rumania does look like the 1940-41 border[2] though. Still, borders on this map are often distorted (look at Austria!), and the Transcaucasian Federative Republic only existed at all from 1922-36[3]. It could be that the mapmaker was drawing something outdated or simply didn't bother with the three little Caucasian Republics. It's hard to say. Manchukuo, of course (1932-45)[4], could fit either the thirties or forties. peyre (talk) 14:05, 27 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
