I have a Magnatone bass amp MP4, 130 watts, has two 15" Jensens. I bought it about 1965, it's cabinet is hudge. Debating weather to get it repaired, local repair est $600, that's with new speakers, was wondering if I should try to repair myself and get the speakers reconditioned or get a recone kit. I know the two power tubes are bad, they are white at the top, lost vacum. But sound it had for bass was so good and clear, stood out. I have priced new Jensen speakers about $190 each. Let me know what you think.
