The year of this portrait is given to be 1868. And yet, the fashion of the portrait, in the manner of hair and clothing, is rather that of then years prior. A fashion analysis would set the picture to be of about 1858 rather than 1868 (which also correspondence better with the age of the person in question, though that matter is more unreliable). So why is the year 1868 rather than 1858? Could it simply be a simple mix up, that some one accidentally wrote a 6 rather than a 5? Should this be corrected? --Aciram (talk) 20:44, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
- I think it's probably been based on an estimate of her age. To me she looks more like 40 than 30, and I'm no expert on fashions. In 1858, she was not yet Queen. In 1871 she was dead. If you feel certain that another estimated year would be better, let me know, and I'll have this changed. Thank you for your input on it! --SergeWoodzing (talk) 23:28, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
