As you can see in this Internet Archive, all photos from LightningVolt.com used to be marked as cc-by-sa-1.0. These photos were also hosted at iStockPhoto.com, where they were merely listed as "copyrighted" without the information that they were also released under a Creative Commons license. At some point in 2006 or 2007, he quit hosting the files on his site, so the information that they are available under a CC license was removed. But such a release cannot be revoked, and so the images are still available for use. Quadell (talk) 15:14, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
