identification with species

• FILE:Lesser Masked Weaver RWD.jpg is it?:
  • Ploceus intermedius (as per included in Ploceus intermedius and name) or
  • Ploceus velatus (as per classified in Category:Ploceus velatus)

I'll check more later, but for the moment I've put it in Category:Unidentified Ploceus. In principle though, it is a captive bird, and therefore very suspect, including a high risk of it being a hybrid - I would not use it to illustrate any article about the species, and certainly not the Wikispecies page (from where I was notified about this discussion). Find a good quality located wild bird for use instead. - MPF (talk) 23:19, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
