The Latin inscription at the bottom means: "Leopold, Austrian (Austriacus), born at Vienna, happily reigns, during the pontificates (sedentibus) of the Popes Alexander VII. [1655-1667], Clemens IX. [1667-1669], Clemens X. [1670-1676], and Innocence XI. [1676-1689] - Unto many years!"
