wrong species name?

I suspect this is Latrodectus hesperus and not L. mactans.

The hour glass is symmetrical which is indicative of the L. hesperus and the artist, Steve Jurvetson, lists his location as Menlo Park, CA an area where L. hesperus is common. --Davefoc (talk) 15:17, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
