@Rudolphous and Hystrix: Hello. This mushroom is a Lactarius, as can be seen from the picture which shows the gills. I am fairly confident that it is Lactarius controversus. Strobilomyces (talk) 16:54, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
