Update - South Tyrol

[edit]

@Treehill and @Pymouss: German is not the native language of the entire South Tyrol population. This region should be put in >50% color on this map. Tenam (talk) 18:50, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Tenam : I think you should trace back the original map. All the maps you wrote on are just mere translation of the original English ones that contained the data or were themselves based on PNG maps having the data. Treehill (fr) Treehill 22:05, 9 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Treehill, I see. My question is: how can I trace the original map? The only two previous versions I see were edited by you, and South Tyrol always shows as "entirely German native". Tenam2 (talk) 11:54, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You just have to withdraw the hyphenated -fr in the end, which indicates it is a transmation into French. The original was something like File:Knowledge of German EU map.svg. Treehill (fr) Treehill 12:18, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Treehill, I've noticed that in the version you created on Oct 2011 were added, apart from South Tyrol, also some parts of Alsace as full German native, which information is quite incorrect to me, unless I'm not mistaken. Which sources were this edits based on? this map seems to be the last most credible version, which I would propose to restablish. What do you think? --Tenam2 (talk) 21:50, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
