I do not believe this file should be deleted. It is well within the scope of a painter's page to include his paintings. The paintings have had press and the information about them in the page is taken from a newspaper and cited. If my understanding of Wikipedia is correct that means the paintings are relevant to the article and if the paintings are relevant to the article then so are the images of them. One cannot understand a painting without viewing it just as one cannot understand a painter without viewing his/her body of work PaulLouisM (talk) 03:31, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
