Hello, I am one of the editors at Wikipedia and I was wondering if I could possibly use your image of Giovanni Ribisi (http://flickr.com/photos/muchmusic/429699317/) for the online free encyclopedia. If you give me permission, I would upload the image for use on the page en.wikipedia.org/wikiGiovanni_Ribisi and give you the credit and include a link back to your Flickr page. We can only use your image if you are willing to grant permission for it to fall under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License. This simply means that anyone will have the right to share and, where appropriate, to update your image. You can read this license in full at: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Text_of_the_GFDL. In summary, it states that other people might crop the image further, but you would still have your name and Flickr account as the author of the image. (I would probably have to crop it a bit to remove the logo in the top left.) For example, it would look something like en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Samuel_L._Jackson_%282006_Pebble_Beach%29.jpg Let me know if the image can be used for the free encyclopedia whenever it is convenient for you. If you do choose so, please reply back saying "I agree to release the image "Hey, It's The Guy From Friends!" under the terms of the GFDL license". Thank you very much for letting us use your image on Wikipedia. You can see it in use at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giovanni_Ribisi. I cropped it a bit to remove the logo in the top left corner, but it can still be seen on the microphone. Would you be willing to also release the image for the same license for Joss Stone (http://flickr.com/photos/muchmusic/530083493/). If you look at the Wikipedia page for her (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joss_Stone), there's a really bad image of her. If you want to please let me know the same as before. Again, I really appreciate you allowing us to use the Giovanni image.
