Are these paintings the same? And who painted them?

These paintings are very similar in terms of pose and background. The Christie's link here actually has the same image: https://www.christies.com/en/lot/lot-6338034. It then says that Barbier painted it. But the other image has some other source saying that J-J Louis David painted that.
