This person has a Napoleon/French revolution inspirated haircut, a directoir coat becoming popular in the 1790:ies, and the bowtie might be inspired by the one from an older engraving, but the way its drawn, its inspired by modern bowties in the fashion that didnt become popular untill 1920:ies. Anyone born before 1900 would know and have seen older ones, and the drawing tecnique looks modern, i would say -71 means its from 1971. I cant make out the signing on the image, Heinz Heland or something like that?

The question is if this person is really Stephan Ludwig Jacobi or an attempt too draw him? If its from 1971 it can be a free fantasy. If its based on an older engraving, it should depicturing somone in a fashion from around 1800, and then it cant be Stephan Ludwig Jacobi. The source of this image doesnt tell anything about where it comes from or who the person is. I tried to google for images of Jacobi, and found this one used in different versions, but no mentioning where it originates from. --FBQ (talk) 20:46, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I found that one of the versions of this image claimed to be connected to Stephan-Ludwig-Jacobi Realshule in Kalletal. It might be created there. Anyway, i will not bother any further, its probably supposed to depicture Stephan Ludwig Jacobi. Still, not from his lifetime and propably pretty far from how he looked.--FBQ (talk) 21:02, 31 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
