Colin Campbell
Henrik König

This image appears to be the same as another Commons image purporting to be of Colin Campbell, though with a different colour cast. Both Henrik König and Colin Campbell were connected to Gothenburg (Swedish: Göteborg) and the Swedish East India Company, but an identification mistake seems to have been made. A Wikimedia vlunteer should visit the Gothenburg City Museum to clear up the confusion; clearly, the same picture cannot be of both individuals, though I do not know which of the two persons is portrayed in the painting. — Objectivesea (talk) 05:11, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

sv:Henrik König died 1720. His son with same name (the one connected with the East Inia Company) died in 1736. So neither of them would have "Order of the Polar Star" (sv:Nordstjärneorden) created in 1748 on their chest. Colin Campbell died in 1757, and he was awarded the Order of the Polar Star. Therefor I think it is Colin Campbell. /Ö 08:19, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I found an entry for the painting in a database of the Museum. They say it is Colin Campbell. /Ö 08:30, 24 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
