This very nice piece of work is at present part of the collection of the "Historical Museum Rotterdam". I was allowed to make this picture in their stores. I was also granted permission to use this picture in Wikipedia, as long as the owner is mentioned. Description in English: A marvellous single piece of beechwood,(52 x 133 x 12 cm or 20.5" x 52.4" x 4.7" ) lovely cut to very fine detail, depicting the workshop of a blockmaker in the 17th century (1694). There are small specs of paint left on the surface, but the whole piece is apparently coated with oil or varnish. It hang above the door of the workshop at the 'Leuvehaven' in Rotterdam until the beginning of the 20th century. The name means: "In the Crowned Ynblock". A small picture of the same can be seen at the museums' website: http://www.schielandhuis.nl/collectie/index.php, invent.nr. 11320.--Karelflach (talk) 23:07, 13 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
