Cheers User:Metrancya, what about the tracks to Rostock? This map could need an update probably, anyway? :) -- Horst-schlaemma (talk) 16:07, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers @Horst-schlaemma: , there is no ICE from/to Rostock. Only an IC from Hamburg to Stralsund. Not sure whether or not the map needs an update ... --Metrancya (talk) 16:46, 27 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A few remarks

[edit]

Thank you, again, for keeping this great map up to date. While having a closer look, I came across a few issues that might be relevant:

  • The Erfurt--Eisenach(--Fulda) upgrade has not yet been completed. ETCS has been installed but is not in operation yet, so the maximum speeds remains at 160 km/h (at best).
  • A portion of the Cologne--Frankfurt line in/near Cologne "only" permits 200 km/h. It is no earlier than Siegburg, some 25 km outside of Cologne that the actual 300 km/h line starts.
  • The scale smees to be a bit off. For example, Nürnberg--Erfurt are 190 km, far less than the scale suggests.

The OpenRailwayMap provides in-depth and up-to-date speed information for most high-speed lines in Germany. --Bigbug21 (talk)
