Identification

[edit]

Hello. I don't believe that Cuphophilus virgineus (or Hygrocybe virginea) can have a coloured cap like the mushroom in the photo, I think it has to be white or whitish. I suggest that perhaps the one in the photo could be Cuphophilus pratensis, but I recommend category "Unidentified Hygrophoraceae". Is it OK if I change the identification? @Josve05a and Mindmatrix: I am not sure I did the ping correctly, so I will wait a bit before making the change. Strobilomyces (talk) 19:58, 26 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No objections from me. --Jonatan Svensson Glad (talk) 01:27, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. The category I added relied on information on the Flickr source file and the English Wikipedia page, as this is not a field of expertise for me. Mindmatrix 01:38, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I intend to change it. Strobilomyces (talk) 19:40, 24 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
