This photo is made by Henk Peeters' son Mark, the legal successor of Henk Peeters. I, the person who has uploaded it am Mark's wife. The photo can be categorized as licensed under the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/en:Creative_Commons Creative Commons. I don't know how to proof any further that we are the owner of this photo and I find it quite rude that despite my previous objections the photo has been deleted. It is in noones interest to remove this picture. The picture is free to use as we stated earlier. We are the owner. Please undelete it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PmkWog61 (talk • contribs) 8 jan 2022 16:31‎ (UTC)

Dear PmkWog61,
  1. Did you send an email with the permission (and perhaps the same story as you wrote here) to permissions-nl@wikimedia.org, as I recommended? See Toestemmingsverklaring voor alle aanvragen for details. That is the best way to react to a deletion request. Commons is very strict on copyright rules and they need such a written permission to be able to keep photos that only can be released/published by the heir of an artist. They need an email because anyone can claim to be the heir of an artist. Best is, if your husband would write the email himself with an email adress that has his name in it. Mention the name of the file in the email, even though it has been deleted.
  2. If you did and got a reaction of VRT, then you can write a request on Commons:Undeletion requests, asking whether the file can be undeleted.
I wish you lots of success! --JopkeB (talk) 15:59, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
