Wrong picture. Distance of the tracks is measured between axles of the tracks. Practically you can measure the distance between left rails and that one between right rails and count the average value which is distance of the tracks. Remember, that both tracks could have a different gauge - nominal or real. --PetrS. (talk) 13:27, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
