I don't know who the people in this photo are, but the person on the left cannot be George Roy Hill during the filming of Butch Cassidy. If you look up just about any other image of George Roy Hill, even ones from the same time period, you will see that it cannot be the him.

I don't think this is w:George Roy Hill....

Hill wasn't that bald or hefty during the filming of w:Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969), for one. Plus, it doesn't jive with photos of him around that time period. Just wanted to bring that to the attention of everyone. NEITHER of the gentlemen in this photo are Mr. George Roy Hill.

So, this brings to question which man is Mr. William R. Edmondson? The shorter man or the taller man? My assumption is the shorter dude, because the taller guy was misidentified.
