I am restoring two categories. The photo illustrates an article about the Kandahar Air Field. I'll accept civilians don't live at the base. But, I suggest Afghans civilians may visit Kandahar. Afghan auxiliary troops may be stationed at the base. Geo Swan 01:43, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you click on the source link ([1]) and hold the mouse pointer on this photo, you'll see a description saying "Members of a civil affairs unit out of Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan, meet with leaders of a local Afghani village to arrange for humanitarian aid delivery and improvements that can be made to better the quality of life in the area." Kandahar Province is extremely huge and the village could be anywhere inside this province. The western soldiers stationed at Kandahar Airport visit villages throughtout the entire province as well as in other parts of the country. This image was not shot at Kandahar International Airport, rather it was shot at a village somewhere in Kandahar Province so the Kandahar Airport cat is misleading readers to think that the airport has homes made of mud where local Afghan villagers live in.--Executioner 14:30, 15 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
My browser doesn't do that. So, I looked at the source. You are absolutely correct. I yield. Cheers! Geo Swan 00:31, 18 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
